Bedford Studio
Bedford Studio is a student-led, graphic design club that I co-founded at Longwood University. The club’s goal is to offer an open space for peers to provide feedback to one another on projects and hold educational events such as design industry trend presentations.
In designing the brand’s identity, I knew it needed to be flexible enough to embrace future experimentation, but to-the-point enough that it felt legitimate and fitting of the tagline “No BS, Just Design”. I was inspired by some of Paula Scher’s work with the public theater, and wanted to revolve the identity around a simple, geometric element that could be used as a blank canvas.
